Bring the comforting aroma of Peru to your garden with a live Hierba Luisa plant starter, carefully grown at Peruvian Roots Farm and ready to thrive in your home garden.
Hierba Luisa (Aloysia citrodora), also known as Lemon Verbena, is one of the most beloved herbs in Peruvian homes. Known for its bright lemon fragrance and refreshing citrus flavor, it has been enjoyed for generations as a soothing tea served during lonche, the cherished Peruvian tradition of sharing tea, bread, and conversation with family and friends.
For many Peruvians living abroad, the scent of fresh Hierba Luisa instantly brings back memories of home, childhood kitchens, and evenings spent gathered around the table. Fresh plants can be difficult to find outside of Peru, making this a special addition for anyone looking to reconnect with their roots or discover a treasured Peruvian tradition.
